Carrie's mom was privileged to be able to make Carrie's urn. She wanted a simple, rounded wooden enclosure finished so that it felt comforting to the caress, not like glossy plastic. She didn't want it to look like a casket or a jewelry box. She discovered that urns like hers were not available at the funeral home or online and she was encouraged to offer similar urns to others.

All items are hand-made by Carrie's mom, who has been a woodworker for more than ten years.

All materials and costs are donated.
100% of the proceeds go to Carrie's fund.

Size is determined by the weight of the decedent.

Some woods are on hand, and most any wood request can be honored with enough time for the wood to be ordered.

If you have a piece of wood with special sentiment, such as a piece from "the old home place," Carrie's mom can incorporate it into the urn itself or apply it as an inlay, depending on its size.
